Josh Bachman excels at breaking down the sometimes complex technical aspects of energy efficiency into big-picture opportunities for industrial customers and energy programs alike. His over 20 years of experience in industrial energy-efficiency consulting combined with excellent communication, connection, and project management skills have helped him promote energy-efficiency opportunities to diverse audiences with differing priorities and interests.
Josh focuses on the creation and growth of Cascade’s corporate energy management program offerings and developing deeper relationships with corporate customers. He joined Cascade Energy in 2000 as an industrial energy-efficiency project engineer. Josh previously managed Cascade’s project engineering group. He was one of the key designers and played an integral role in the launch of the Bonneville Power Administration’s award-winning Energy Smart Industrial program. He has additionally traveled the country to present on energy-efficiency topics on behalf of industrial trade associations, utility demand-side programs, and other audiences.
Josh enjoys spending time in the outdoors and is an avid skier, mountain biker, and backpacker. He was captain of his college rugby team and his first job after college was working as a ski lift operator.
