Dan is focused on identifying new business opportunities for Cascade. He is currently working on the development, marketing, sales, and support of the SENSEI™ energy efficiency platform. Dan continues to build and maintain many key Cascade business relationships. In 2006 he jumped at the chance to join the Cascade ownership team and company board.

In 2005, Dan spearheaded the creation of Cascade’s corporate and utility energy management program. He has contributed to the growth of the program by developing big-picture energy management plans, communicating to corporate decision-makers, and managing the many details critical to long-term success. Since launching the program, Cascade has built a string of successes, with customers achieving enterprise-wide energy savings and reduced energy spend of 20 to 40 percent.

Prior to 2005, Dan performed engineering analysis, project implementation assistance, and energy efficiency research. His knowledge of practical energy efficiency is now being put to good use in the development of world-class products at Cascade Energy.

Interesting Personal Facts

Dan joined Cascade’s founders in 1998 as their first full-time employee. He has thoroughly enjoyed Cascade’s evolution and growth since that time. Outside the office, Dan races a Subaru STI in Northwest performance rallies with Doug Heredos, another Cascade employee. Dan also enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and their two boys.
