Umadevi Gopaldass is a leading advisor and Board-certified governance counsel with over 31 years of global operating experience across the Natural Resources, Technology, and Engineering industries. Additionally, she is an active board director and sits on several boards and investor councils, including the Leadership Board of TEDx MileHigh, and the Corporate Boards of VECKTA Energy and Cascade Energy, specializing in Energy Transition to Net Zero Emissions. Her company, Leading Lotus, guides leadership teams to rise above a myriad of business challenges including securing financing, building investor confidence, targeting strategic markets, and executing on plan.
Prior to this, Uma has managed multiple global re-organizations, including mergers, acquisitions, as well as restructurings for industry-leaders, including Schlumberger, Accenture, Newmont, and Fortune 500 clients, Unilever, Deutsche Bank, and Chevron.
Uma is board certified (CDI.D) by Corporate Directors International and advocates for minority representation in the Boardrooms. She was awarded “Woman of the Year” by the National Association of Professional Women for her commitment and leadership in Equity, Inclusion, and Talent engagement mentoring.
Uma was born and raised in Singapore, and has been enjoying mountain living in Colorado, Denver for the past 11 years. As a “many generation” Singaporean, she can converse fluently in four languages common to Singapore and cook up a storm as a native of the food paradise. Uma’s idea of a fun time is travelling globally and immersing herself in World Cultures.
