Natalia brings over 15 years of experience as a global human resources executive, having led teams across continents and across a range of industries—from startups and nonprofits to academia and sustainability-focused organizations. At Cascade, she leads our People Team, overseeing the full employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding to talent and policy development, employee relations, benefits and organizational culture—to help every Cascadian thrive.
Before joining Cascade in the fall of 2024, Natalia served as Head of Human Resources at Dream Harvest Farming Company, a forward-thinking indoor agriculture startup based in Houston. There, she built an infrastructure to scale the company’s HR function from the ground up. Known for her strategic mindset and practical leadership, Natalia has a proven track record of designing processes and driving cultural shifts that support growth, engagement, and employee satisfaction.
What sets Natalia apart is her deep commitment to people. She’s passionate about fostering inclusive, values-driven workplaces where individuals feel connected, supported, and empowered. A dedicated coach, mentor and advocate for compassionate communication, she cultivates environments where joy and productivity go hand in hand.
Fluent in Ukrainian and English, and conversational in Spanish and French, Natalia brings a global lens to her work, along with expertise in HR strategy, leadership development, change management, coaching, and executive partnership.
Personal Facts
Originally from Minnesota, Natalia now lives in Vancouver, Washington with her family—though others are spread across Minnesota, Oregon, Illinois, and Germany. She’s a blue ribbon–winning Ukrainian egg artist and a self-proclaimed armchair mountaineer, endlessly fascinated by stories of alpine adventure from around the globe. When enjoying the outdoors closer to sea level, she’s often accompanied by her Bernese Mountain Dog, Rainer. Natalia is also a passionate volunteer, currently supporting Ukrainian refugee arrivals to the U.S. with job search coaching, resume building, and interview preparation.
