March 2020

As many of us know, countries across the world are experiencing expanding outbreaks of COVID-19. We anticipate that the situation will intensify and want to provide our customers with the information you deserve regarding our approach to business continuity during the pandemic.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as state and local health authorities where we have employees and clients, are primary sources of information for us. We will continue to follow all guidance issued by these organizations as circumstances evolve.

Currently, all our staff are working from home, and all in-person, non-essential customer visits have been put on hold. We have assembled an Infectious Disease Action Committee that is meeting daily to develop and coordinate our strategic response to the outbreak.

The new paradigm we live in is certainly a test, and we are prepared for it. Our top priorities are to

  1. Ensure the safety of our people, clients, and the general public
  2. Safeguard business continuity throughout the initial stages of the pandemic
  3. Be prepared to support resumption of normal business operations in the future.

We are asking our entire team to lean into the challenge and be creative in how we deliver our services when face-to-face meetings and workshops may not be an option. Our team remains focused on delivering the highest level of client support possible, and Cascade as an organization is entering this season with our strongest business health ever. We are working hard to listen to our customers’ challenges, identify barriers to remote work and delivery, deploy new solutions, and bring immediate value to customers.

We think this is a good opportunity to remind you of the driving values behind our business, which serve us greatly in this time of hardship:

  1. Do the right thing
  2. Put others first
  3. Seek shared success
  4. Learn constantly
  5. Be industrious

Please know that we are here to help. We invite all customers to tell us about the unique barriers you face, and how we can work with you in creative ways to achieve our mutual goals. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me, a division Vice President, or your primary Cascade contact if you’d like to discuss our response and what it means for our work with you in greater detail.
