We’ve seen industrial facilities that produce excellent energy efficiency results with equipment that would charitably be called “standard efficiency.”

At the other extreme are sites that have all the latest energy efficiency technology, but without a behavior-based change, their consumption is still high. The difference can boil down to the fact that the first group isn’t simply relying on modern machines and technology to drive energy savings. Instead, they have a behavior-based approach to manage their energy consumption effectively by educating and fully engaging their employees and management.
