Siva Sethuraman is an accomplished leader in energy-efficiency and demand-side management programs, with an innate ability to find connections and anticipate customer needs. His 20-year career in the energy sector has spanned functional areas ranging from program design and strategy to product development to sales and account management.
As Cascade’s lead for utility engagement, Siva works to build strong relationships with Cascade’s existing and prospective utility clients and develop new business opportunities. He also manages the launch, scaling, and stabilization of Cascade’s new industrial and agricultural programs across California. Prior to joining Cascade in 2017, Siva led the industrial and agricultural energy-efficiency programs and the high-tech and buildings accounts groups at Pacific Gas and Electric for several years. He currently serves on the ISO 50001 Technical Advisory Group and is also an active volunteer judge for Cleantech Open’s Energy Startup Accelerator program.
Siva grew up with no television, no refrigerator, no phone, and no car until he was ten years old. With a truly entrepreneurial spirit, he loves watching Shark Tank with his kids and previously worked with the team that developed the world’s first jet fuel-based fuel cell-powered generation system.
