Mike McDevitt

Board Member

Mike McDevitt’s 25 years of experience in the industrial energy-efficiency consulting field have given him the ability to know the right questions to ask (after years of sometimes learning the hard way). Commonly asked for his “devil’s advocate” opinion on program and pricing concepts and new business opportunities, Mike’s input and analysis helped dial in Cascade’s services and make them better.

In the time since co-founding Cascade in 1993, he helped lead Cascade from being a three-person company that provided studies to local utility programs, to a company of over 200 people that provides a diverse range of industrial energy-efficiency services to meet the needs of both utilities and end users across North America. In previous roles at Cascade, Mike provided energy-efficiency consulting services to industrial customers and oversaw our corporate energy management and project engineering teams. Since retiring in 2023, Mike still serves as a board member and continues to provide invaluable guidance and expertise.
